All DIY orders need to be paid in full before dispatch.
We do our very best to guide and offer our best recommendations on the amount of grass required (or accessories) for your job. In some instances, due to no fault of anyone, you’ll need more grass than recommended. The cost of any extra grass is the responsibility of the user. Please check the amount of grass offered (on invoice) before proceeding.
We don’t offer refunds on DIY jobs once the grass has been installed. If there are noticeable defects on the grass, please contact us immediately and prior to installing.
Any performance issues will almost certainly be caused by poor install methods
All measurements are the responsibility of the client. We do our best to recommend the right grass (and amount) but it is up to client to ensure order levels are correct at time of ordering.
On all DIY jobs we offer our aluminium putting cups and marker shield flags by default. These items will be sent unless otherwise specified.
Full install customers pay an initial deposit (usually 50%) and the remainder on completion. These terms can differ from job to job.
The deposit is required to lock in a starting date and order grass. If you cancel the job, once paying the deposit outside of 30 days, we reserve the right to review any deposit monies being refunded back to you. All refund requests will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
By paying deposit you agree to the terms listed and are happy for the job to proceed asap. You also agree to payment terms and the scope of works listed in, but not limited to, emails, contract, text messages.
Final deposit/payment is required at completion of all jobs
We may insist that a contract is entered into with Golf Marketing Services before proceeding with any project. In the absence of a contract you agree to the terms listed on this page.
If you cancel the project, for whatever reason, before practical completion, we reserve the right to charge for outstanding amounts. You will also forfeit all monies paid as a deposit.
We require the user/owner to be available for all key design decisions. In the absence of the user/owner being present, we may make these decisions on your behalf. These decision decisions are final and you may incur extra charges if you wish to make amendments.
Please note: We do allow around 20% extra grass to accommodate any shortfall, but sometimes this is not enough. In the unlikely event your project needs more grass (or other materials) we may pass on these costs to you. If you have any questions here please contact us before proceeding.
Your purchase(s) are warrantied under Australian consumer laws. Simply, if your goods are faulty, damaged or in some way defective, you are protected. Our manufacturer warranties all grasses over 7 years from defects. The warranty does not cover DIY installs.
When it comes to installations job, we like to work closely with each client to ensure all jobs are completed to the highest standard. If there is an obvious issue with installation then we will work to rectify. Design and creative aspects of your golf green, mini golf course or similar, are not warranty issues or reasons to claim refunds or alterations.
If you decide against moving forward with a project within 30 days of paying a deposit, we will refund deposit, less any fees/costs incurred by Golf Marketing Services.
If you decide that you no longer want a DIY Kit (after it has been dispatched to you) then a refund can be obtained under the following terms:
– the grass and other items have not been used (are still in packaging)
– you return all items back to us at your cost (please contact us for correct address)
– you will forfeit any freight/shipping costs
– time frame is inside 30 days
Note: there is no refund possible after 30 days for changing your mind or any other reason. If you are unsure whether a DIY Kit is for you please don’t make a purchase.
We use 3rd party businesses to ship your goods to you. In most instances goods arrive within 2-4 business days. This timeframe can vary depending on your location and time of day/week/year that you order. Please note, although we do our very best with shipping and freight companies, we are rarely at fault with delays to shipping times. Freight for grass is to roadside (driveway or top of property) only. The freight company, due to all sorts of reasons, do not have the resources to move your grass into your property. In most cases, the grass can be rolled into place with 1 or 2 people. Experience tells us that the grass will be dropped off in your driveway and it’s your responsibility from there.
All other items (cups and accessories) will be delivered to your door. All items are authorised to leave (ATL) and are your responsibility once they have been left/dropped.
