Here’s a short video I put together to show you how well the ball will roll on a Supreme Green. The grass is non directional so there’s no nap or grain and testing shows that the ball can roll better on these surfaces than those of real grass. The roll is very consistent and absolutely good enough to improve your putting game from your backyard. To be honest, I have been surprised at how well these things roll – considering the amount of use mine gets and the 1000’s of shots I’ve hit onto it, they really are a marvel.
Any deviation or poor roll is almost always due to debris on your green rather than the synthetic grass. The other week my green wasn’t rolling too well and it was because I hadn’t serviced it for a few months. After some blowing and brushing it came back better than ever.
